stomach tattoos

HIP AND STOMACH TATTOOS FOR GIRLS

Hip and stomach tattoos are very common amongst young women in 2010. Not only are they cool and sexy, but they can be easily concealed for formal or work-related functions. There are a plethora of designs that can be transferred onto the hips or stomach; however, you should be careful with your choice of placement. Many women who get tats on the sides of their stomach or on a high section of their hip regret this decision when they become pregnant. During pregnancy, the skin on the stomach and lower hip stretches significantly, which can destroy the design of a tattoo. Additionally, as the skin returns to normal, the tattoo will usually stay distorted.

If you want to avoid permanent distortion from a tattoo, it is important to keep the size of a stomach or hip tattoo as small as possible. Additionally, take notice of the tattoo?s placement. The safest bet is to avoid the stomach area completely. If you want a tattoo on your hip, be sure that it is placed right on the bone, and not farther up. This will reduce the amount of the tattoo which becomes stretched during pregnancy.
Tattoos placed on or around the belly button will also experience this effect from pregnancy. If you?re a woman, and you plan on getting pregnant, you may want to rethink a tattoo around the stomach area.

However, it is important to note that these warnings don?t apply to only women. With age, men usually gain weight as their skin expands and loses elasticity, which will also cause tattoos to distort.
